Research proves that positive touch has many positive effects on children. It increases bond and attachment for babies, and as children get older it helps to regulate their emotions.
Subtle gestures of affection can be comforting to people of all ages, really. Today I'm considering that there are many people who are ecstatic, and many who are disappointed and enraged with the poll outcomes. Children may not always understand what is going on around them, but they can sense it which can be unsettling. How are you going to show them comfort and safety today when they may feel unsure?
