Often times children with learning disabilities and/or diagnoses qualify for an IEP or 504 plan at their school. Typically a school districts team of experts will review a child's testing, evaluations, gather feedback from teachers and the child's parents to determine what accommodations the child needs to concede their disability or diagnoses. The goal of an IEP or 504 plan is to ensure that a child has everything they need to succeed in school. They are legal binding documents and it's important that everything that a child needs is in writing in that document.
